This was taken from my front door about 15 minutes ago. There are two fires about 3 miles away. Our neighbors from across the street that moved last year(the ones with the goats) are evacuating. The kids are watching the super scoopers fly by inbetween cleaning the house for the possibility of evacuees coming over.Why the heck do we still live here????
Update: All is well. No sign of smoke the next morning. Over 1000 acres burned, but no structures lost!!
