Down and Derby

We had an adult church activity last week-end that was a big hit. A Pine Wood Derby with the "Big Boys". The competition was fierce! The cars to beat were Baby Beluga and John Moses Browning. The white siding is Teflon. This is serious business. It was a fun night and now we have three trophies to defend next year and quite a reputation to keep up with!

Congratulations. What was the inspiration for the Browning design? Is it also know as a 1911 Fastback?

Pinewood derby is serious stuff! Glad to see you've got the winning know-how at your house.

It is a .50 BMG. I figured that a 6" cartrige was just the right size. I believe some people use those on whales, so the Baby Beluga better watch out...
