Oktoberfest in November

We are now proud owners of two kegs and a C02 tank.

For the past several years the Elder's Quorum has had an Oktoberfest party where root beer was the main attraction. Bottles and bottles of root beer, birch beer, apple beer... There is even homemade root beer that our friend Josh makes from scratch. Well, this year, W decided he, too, would make some home made root beer. (Spruce Beer, Birch Beer and two different varieties of Root Beer.) Recipes were procured, supplies were ordered and the taste testing began in earnest. There were a couple of mishaps (exploding root beer in the garage when he put the dry ice in) but it was all in good fun and the kids were loving it!

Everyone was excited to hear that dad won first place in the Home-made Root Beer contest and took the trophy home!
