The View From the Couch

I'm sick. The kind of sick that had me on the couch under a blanket with a box of tissues at my side earlier today. With two kids at a birthday party, one watching the entire collection of Schoolhouse Rock and one reading every December back issue of Family Fun, it was uncharacteristically quiet this afternoon. As I stirred from my Triaminic induced stupor, this was the scenery before me. I thought it pretty, the shadow and light, and wanted to always remember the days of block towers in the living room. So I shuffled off to get my camera (not far) and resumed my reclined position. Click. Roll over. Zzzzzzzz.
