*Science~ We had a great time playing harmonicas in the bathtub! We listened to how the sound "improved 100%" and discussed sound vibration. We enjoyed reading The Magic School Bus Explores the Senses.
*Art~ We whittled away at bars of soap while listening to harmonica music!
*More Science~ We made a map of our tongue's taste buds! We used Q-Tips and glasses of lemon juice (sour), sugar water (sweet), salt water(salty) and Grandma Ruth's coffee grounds in water (bitter-ick!). It was really interesting to find the proper taste buds. We used a taste bud map from Enchanted Learning to help us along. We also sucked on lemons and puckered up just like Old Sneep!
