P-12 had mentors that saw his leadership qualities and helped him see them in himself. I'm so proud of the effort he put in and for Doing Hard Things! (Our commonwealth school theme for the year!)

Both boys also have been doing a ton of scout merit badge work. They completed several merit badges required for Eagle and worked on lots of projects. The Shakespeare stocks are an example! P-12 took his Shakespeare mentor's warning of "I'll put you in the stocks!" to students that forgot their books etc. to heart (all in good fun, of course!) and made the class some stocks so she could carry out the punishment! We all, mentors and family alike, got a big laugh out of it and P-12 learned some woodworking skills with his dad. And the Shakespeare classes have a new prop for their plays!
