It was a busy week and my to do list was longer than my available time. We didn't get to all of the traditional things we usually do, but that's o.k., we did a few. L-16 set up the Easter "decoration table".
We read a few of our favorite Easter and Passover books~
The kids made felted wool balls on a warm afternoon~
P- 12 couldn't find his Easter basket, so he transformed his Halloween ghost bucket. Clever and pretty cute!
Easter morning after church~ The kids decided that we should have more pictures with parents in them~

We went to my sister's house for an egg hunt~
Family time~
And the whacking of the traditional Easter pinata!
The kids had more candy than Halloween!
My sister is an amazing party caterer and we had delicious food beautifully presented~
These tarts are made from a recipe of my mom's she called Christmas Pie.
It was a nice Easter and celebration of Christ's resurrection! My To Do list is still sitting here on my desk. It reads:
Dye eggs- Buy cabbage and blueberries for natural dye
Make pysanky eggs
Make Hot Cross Buns
Prepare Resurrection Eggs
Watch The Ten Commandments
Buy matzoh
Make kugel and haroset
Make salt dough tomb for Good Friday
Go to Wal-mart
The only thing I did on my list was Go to Wal-Mart! Haha
Oh well, I have these memories from Easter Past:
Salt dough tomb
Natural egg dye
Pysanky eggs
Passover

It sounds like you had a wonderful Easter.
Blessings,

You got around to doing more than we did this year. I too had a long list and got nothing from my list done. Oh well- we did have a good Easter despite. I really enjoyed seeing your pictures- especially love the family ones!
