Easter 2008

Easter really snuck up on us this year! Being earlier than usual, we didn't do very many projects or prepare ourselves like we would have liked.
We dyed eggs using natural fruit dyes again this year. Frozen blueberries produced a green and dark blue marbled look, the dark purple is from grape juice, the very light pink that you can barely see is cranberry dye and the yellow is from orange peels.
After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for fun with the cousins and an egg hunt. I didn't get very many pictures because they were all running so fast, they were a blur!
It was a beautiful and sunny day! He is Risen!

The kids look great and your eggs are beautiful. One of these years, we'll try doing the natural dye.

Not only do you have darling kids, you have two dots in Australia and one in New Zealand!! Not to mention the one in Central America. Why does this entertain me so much?
