Snail Rescue

Today was a rainy day. M-9 had her friend over and they launched a rescue mission for the poor snails that were in danger of drowning. They were very proud of themselves!

What a great moment with nature. I have never seen so many snails out in the wild.
Blessings,

That just gave me shivers! One snail I can handle...but that many? Glad they had a good time saving the snails!

Snails - You can do two things with the average garden snail. It is destructive and eats you plants. So the options are,

1. Put the snails in captivity for a couple of days. Then feed them carrots until they poop orange. Refrigerate them and then cook them up and eat them.

2. Go to a nursery and purchase good snails. The good snails do that eat the plants, but they do eat the bad snails eggs. Soon you will not have any bad snails.

In our household we went for option 2 many years ago and I have not seen a pesky bad snail eating any of my plants in years. Then again, your children may like exotic specialties to eat . . .
