Independence Day 2010

Honoring the flag as she goes by~

Candy scramble~

On Great Grandpa's porch sorting their loot~

The Willow Swing~

Everyone was able to visit with Great Grandpa (age 98)~

Central's Independence Day Town Picnic and Races~

Everyone ran foot races by age~

The 3-Legged Races were lots of fun to watch~

Everyone had tons of fun~

And everyone at least placed! All got a quarter to buy an ice cream~

We drove back to the cousin's house that night and watched fireworks in the street. It reminded me of when I was a kid and you could do that in California. Now, fireworks are banned.
It was a great Independence Day and we love visiting the Utah relatives!

I miss fireworks! I guess I'll have to take my kids to Utah one fourth! :) Aren't cousins the best? My kids can go years without seeing their cousins and never miss a beat when they finally get together.
