The tub and shower tile won't be changing~
The floor has got to go!
About 5 years ago we had laminate flooring put in throughout the house. Wood laminate in the living areas and tile laminate in the kitchen and bathrooms. I like it with the exception of the bathroom. It is hard to clean a bathroom that is used by 4 kids and guests with just a damp mop. The shower/tub also has gotten so much water on the floor that there is a huge bubble the whole length of the bathroom.I need advice on what style of tile to put on the floor. The room is sort of long and very narrow. I was thinking of painting the cupboards white with silver handles. I would also like to put wainscot half way up the wall, but maybe that would make it look too small. I would like to keep it white or neutral creamy beige in color for the top of the wall.
So, hit me with what's nice and stylish for tile in a kids/guest bath!

When we re-did the floor tile in our bathrooms we had them finish it by cutting tile to go around the edges of the wall instead of the moulding. It comes up about 4 or 5 inches and gives it a nice finished look, plus it is easy to keep clean. If you are using larger tile in a small bathroom it looks really nice if it is laid on the diagonal.
