We had a blast at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park! We went with our History Club to see an IMax movie on Lewis and Clark. It was really good but it gave me a headache!
The Science Center is a fabulous hands on museum. The kids explored for hours without tiring.
The age machine was a little scary!! Note to self: Wear sunscreen and don't smoke!
The block room had lots of structures to be inspired by and thousands of plank blocks to build with. We have a set of 100 that I bought at Ikea years ago that get regular play. They are just like the expensive Kapla blocks at a fraction of the cost! I just looked online and they don't sell them any more. Boo hoo!
It was a great day and everyone had a lot of fun! Thanks History Club!
