Perspective

Yesterday was a chilly, blustery day. The clouds were gathering in the North East up against the foothills and farther to the mountains where we had snow last week.

C-12, M-8 and I went out to take some cloud pictures and feel ourselves being blown about by the wind. The clouds were low; just over the housetops.

I kept trying to get a better angle. I stood on my toes. I lifted the camera high. I stretched. I wanted a more balanced composition. So we kept walking.

I turned the corner

and had a broader view.

There's a lesson in that for me. As I search for balance, I need to look at the wider, larger view.
