Balboa Park, that is. While we waited for the big girls to be done with their Old Globe field trip, my buddy and the kids strolled around. I caught up with them after attending half of the field trip and enjoyed what turned out to be a very pretty morning despite the ominous rain clouds approaching.

The
arisit that created the
sculpture garden at Kit Carson park also has a couple here at Balboa that the kids like to climb on.

We just happened by the
Spreckles Organ pavilion as a school group was getting started with a demonstration. We were delighted to hear Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor ring out from the organ's 4,350 pipes! That piece always gives me chills. My kids know it because I play it every Halloween night. It just has that haunting quality about it.
This is a cool
You Tube I found to have a listen.(And a look~ it's super cool!)
