Books~

Well, I finally unpacked our books! They were waiting on the placement of the main bookcases. Because of how different this house is from our other house, *everything* is changing. Bookcases that I used to have in our master bedroom are now in the living room. Our main school stuff bookcase that was in our living room is now in the boys bedroom. The old picture book book case from the living room is now in the dining room. Yup, everything is all switched around. It would have been much easier to just put everything how it was in the old house, but oh well!

Now I am organizing them into topics: Picture books, Chapter books, History, Social Studies, Science, Holidays, Five in a Row, Art, Church books, Math, Poetry, and Reference. The next step is to weed out the stacks. This is like amputating a limb for me. I am the worst at getting rid of books. I think I will have a book fair for my homeschooling group to motivate me.
