We rang in the New Year in Utah with snow and lots of it! We literally arrived within an hour of a big snow storm.

Funny how shoveling snow is fun and not a job to the San Diego boy.

We were able to rent ipads for a self guided tour and I loved the commentary for this painting. Christ has a loving hand on the child but He also has a stern look on his face while gesturing with His other hand. Its almost as if in warning to those that might harm or injure an innocent child.

Cute cousins go to the New Year's Eve dance! Other fun cousin activities were: going to the BYU Creamery for ice cream (in 16 degree temperatures!), seeing The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (movie tradition), and hours of play downstairs without any adults meddling in the fun!

We stopped off at Great Grandpa's and had a visit. It is so hard to believe he will be 99 in June! He only stopped mowing his own yard in the last year or so.

I love this picture. Wayne had just said something and he and his grandpa shared a chuckle.

We made it home once again by barely missing a storm that closed down the mountain pass. We came home to two very happy dogs (who stayed at the doggy hotel) and a happy cat!
Happy 2011!
