Shakespeare Mania

The Scene~
Orlando from As You Like It~

L-14 has had 2 years of Shakespeare classes and it has rubbed off on her siblings! Last school year her class performed As You Like It and there was lots of playing it out at home with Legos from C-12, P-10 and M-8.
M-8's favorite book for a couple of months was this Usborne Stories from Shakespeare. She read it over and over and liked to share it with friends young and old. The adorable little red haired boy in the above picture is a friend of ours that we were watching. M-8 decided she would read some Shakespeare to him under a homemade tent, then they acted it out on the play structure "stage".
When M-8 broke her arm she was really sad and uncomfortable. She said she wished she had a visitor to cheer her up and she did have a few. Our friend Katie answered the call and quickly drove over for some cheering up. When she asked M-8 what she would like to do, M said she would like to read some Shakespeare together. M-8 has such great inflection when she reads! It is hysterical!

I love seeing the creativity inspired by Shakespeare. You got some great pictures of the fun too!
