L-13 had her end of the year Girl Scout trip and I helped to chaperone. We went hotel camping for 2 days at Disneyland and California Adventure and it was super fun! My feet were killing me for several days after, though. Those Girl Scouts sure give you a work out! We also enjoyed dinner at the Rainforest Cafe which was very fun. I had never been there and it was a treat!
That week the Girl Scouts had a huge bridging ceremony at Balboa Park. All but one of the girls in our group was bridging up to the next level so that made it especially fun. There was a sea of green, brown and tan crossing over the Cabrillo Bridge. L-13 is now a Senior Girl Scout and working on her gold award.
