The boys went to day camp and had a blast with the "knights" theme! The leaders really went all out and had medieval re-enactors sword fighting, bag pipers, great building projects, a tresbuchet launching water balloons and even a rock climbing wall.
We went to the beach for our pack meeting where P-8 received his Wolf badge and C-10 received his Webelos badge and religious knot! They both earned a ton of belt loops, pins and various other scout paraphernalia and were so proud! Usually when a cub moves up in rank the mom paints her son's face representing some of the scout promises. Leave it to my darling son P-8 to shout out "Let's paint the moms instead!" Everyone went for the idea and I had a lovely new make over!
