We always have a great time visiting with great grandpa! He is 96 years old and still hoeing the garden. He is amazing and we cherish every visit we have with him. Some of the "must do's" of every trip are: swinging on the willow tree, exploring the hen house, tramping around the back paddock, and just hanging out and talking about the old days. I love the hollyhocks that bloom all over the property. They are the hollyhocks that this blog is named for!
