On my header is a little line I made up a few years ago~ Doing interesting things with interesting people in interesting places. It was to sum up our homeschooling experience and explain that life is learning.
We had an experience at the park last week that highlights this. While meeting some friends at the park in the middle of a school day (I love doing that!) we met some very nice kids that were camping there with their family. All of the kids had a wonderful time playing Red Rover, Simon Says and Freeze Tag. Really good fun. We figured out pretty quickly that they were also a homeschool family and we later found out they were also lds. Turns out this really neat family with 7 kids are from Alaska and they are touring the country. Not actually "touring" the country, but "on tour". You see they are a family Bluegrass band and they are on tour in a huge bus doing gigs form Arizona to Florida. Now how cool is that?! Here they are: http://www.redheadexpress.com/

Holy Cow, did you see their tour schedule? I can't imagine how fun, yet hard that would be to do and raise a family while doing it.
