*Social Studies~ We learned about Japan and it's culture in this wonderful story! We looked at lots of library books of Japan and enjoyed looking at the style of dress and especially the kimonos. We played the Weather Telling game from the book and practiced saying Japanese phrases and learned how to bow to one another. We also had lots of opportunity to discuss right and wrong and telling the truth with this story.
