Baby Birds

For the past two years that we have lived here, we have had a mama bird build her nest right outside M-11's window.  She really enjoyed watching the birdy parents set up housekeeping and the anticipation as the mama sat on her eggs, waiting for the little babies to hatch.  Once born, those babies can sure raise a ruckus when they're hungry and the tireless mother feeds them many times a day.  It's fun to watch the fledglings learn to use their wings and then take off, leaving the nest quiet and empty until the next year.
