Shakespeare Faire

C-14 and fellow Shakespeare scholar awaiting to be served dinner at the Royal table by their peasant mentors~

C-14 at his coronation receiving his royal robe, candy necklace and crown~

Three scholars were crowned the night of the Faire for completing their study of at least 17 original Shakespeare plays. Quite an accomplishment!

Some of the Kings and Queens that were coronated in class since the beginning of the school year cheering on the new royals. (P-12 is in between the two taller kings.)

After dinner and the Shakespeare class program, the Classical Acting class entertained the crowd with an improved version of Romeo and Juliet. The students chose a theme (nerds vs. cool kids) and Romeo and Juliet became a comedy. L-16 was Romeo's nerdy, chess playing mother.

Cool kid Juliet being mourned~ So tragic! Romeo didn't get her text in time....

The actors taking their bows~

Another inspiring night with our awesome commonwealth school! We love the opportunities our children have with this amazing group!
