Someone needs to tell my peach tree that it is January 25th. It fully blossomed before I had a chance to prune it for the new growth. When we were looking at this house we took particular notice of this little tree. (It stands just over 5 feet tall) It was loaded with little green peaches. We talked about how fun it was going to be to pick our peaches when they were ripe. Unfortunately for us, the sellers wanted to keep the fruits of their labor and stripped the tree clean before we moved in. We are looking forward to our long awaited peach harvest!
Our other fruit trees, except for the citrus and avocado, of course, still look like this. (Nectarine. See the bird nest?) The peach tree seems to be an over achiever.
