Outside my Window~
is a thick blanket of fog with the promise of a hot day.
I am Listening to~
the bird's social media. Twittering, you know. (I crack myself up!)
I am Wearing~
blue plaid jammies, flip flops because my Land's End black felt slippers finally died, and a serious bed head.
I am Sipping~
hot chocolate with hazelnut creamer.
I am Thinking~
of my dear nephew Mitchell and all of the memories I have of him.
I am Feeling~
grief and sadness with waves of denial. Hope and faith are making an appearance, but wow, can that sadness can be overwhelming.
I am Grateful~
for the sweet thoughts and prayers of others. They are a balm to the soul, truly.
I am Considering~
that it could be possible to get my house in order before I have a homeschool meeting with 25+ people a week from today. Anything is possible.
I am Pondering~
gophers and how to get rid of the wee beasties. They are killing my plants at an alarming rate.
I am Trying to Figure Out~
Pinterest. It has me baffled, but I know it would be very helpful. I have a bad habit of saving all new websites, blogs, articles etc. that I want to get back to in tabs on my laptop. The problem is, my laptop likes to re-boot itself fairly often and I lose everything.
I am Reading~
Beatrix Potter to a girl that can't get enough. I love those complex tales. I do a pretty good accent, too.
My To Do List for Today~
Pray, Read scriptures, Take shower, Laundry, Dishes, Finish putting books away in living room, Shop at Fresh and Easy, Delegate floors and dusting to kids, Go to old house and get photos and some wall art that is still there, Buy paint and supplies at Home Depot for L-15's room, Declutter computer desk and decorate the empty shelves.
