Education Through Music (ETM)

This winter I am taking a series of courses for educators from the Richards Institute. Education Through Music is "the study of artful teaching and the process of learning through song and play. ETM activities build the imagaic system and symbolization process through the synergy of language, song, movement, and interactive play. Thereby, laying the foundation for the building of intelligence." http://richardsinstitute.org/Default.aspx?pg=27

Yesterday I went to an observation of 5 different classes, grades K-5, at two different elementary schools. It was really interesting and I learned a lot about playing the song games with my kiddos. Unfortunately I came home with a migraine that slammed me down for the rest of the night. Thankfully, I feel right as rain this morning!
