My homeschool buddy Michele and I wanted to give the kids some biome experiences so we set off for the Anza Borrego Desert visitors center. It was quite a drive with all those little kids. It was a lovely day despite both of the C boys getting attacked by cacti. My C had to have a park ranger extract the barbed spine from his elbow with a pair of pliers! Quite an experience!
