The other morning as I was trying to rush out the door to get kids to play practice on time there was a little distraction. M-9 (who had a little friend over for the night) came squealing inside and said there was a scorpion outside!! We all hurried out to see what it was all about. Sure enough a HUGE scorpion was on the ground! Not able to contain myself I began screeching "Oh My Gosh!! That is HUGE! Go get Dad!!!" I'm surprised all of the neighbors didn't start coming out their front doors to see what the racket was all about. Daddy, with shovel in hand, poked and prodded and determined that it was a toy!! Ahhhh! It was the day after St. Patrick's Day, so we figured it was the work of some tricky leprechaun.
