We are learning about Ancient History this year! Again! My kids just love ancient history~especially Egypt! We are meeting with a few other families a couple times a month to have an "unschooling", free exploration of ancient history. Our first meeting we made cuneiform tablets, painted egyptian armlets, wrote in hieroglyphics on scrolls, made sugar cube ziggurauts and had a great time. The second meeting the kids worked cooperatively and made lentil soup and bread from a Sumerian recipe that was over 6,000 years old. Now that's a fun way to learn!
