Family Field Trip~The Golden Spike

L did the Beyond Five in a Row unit study on the Box Car Children. One of the lessons was to learn about the trans-continental railroad. We thought it would be fun to go to the site in Utah.
We arrived just as they started up the trains for a mini reenactment. Very cool!
